What is Metabolic Typing?
Metabolic Typing is the science of customized nutrition based on a person's unique biochemical and genetic individuality.
Externally, we are all different, so it comes as no surprise that on the inside we are all unique too, which means we all use and process foods differently. Each person has profoundly different requirements of both macronutrients (carbohydrates, proteins and fats) and micronutrients (vitamins and minerals).
For instance, some people need fast burning foods because their body metabolises them slowly, while others need the exact opposite.
The health benefits of any food are dependent upon the stimulatory or inhibitory effects on the biochemistry of any individual. Different foods have the power to strengthen or weaken metabolic imbalances, so you need to know which foods will improve how you feel and which ones will make you feel worse.
